Souvenir Souvenir is a residency program dedicated to artists, researchers and curators. The program is held between April and September 2022 and it extends an invitation to all participants of the Swiss Art Awards 2022 exhibition.
Lə artistə invitatə, per un periodo massimo di cinque giorni consecutivi, avranno la possibilità di stabilirsi temporaneamente nella Svizzera italiana, ponendosi in diretto contatto col tessuto sociale e la scena artistica ticinese e favorendo la
costruzione di reti di scambio culturale.
The invited artist will have the opportunity, for a maximum period of five consecutive days, to settle temporarily in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland, putting themselves in direct contact with the social fabric and art scene of Ticino and fostering the construction of cultural exchange networks.
Questo programma di residenze ha lo scopo di esplorare coralmente le potenzialità della nostra regione così come le sue criticità nell’idea di gettare le basi per la costruzione una residenza stabile al sud della Svizzera. Oltre a un alloggio dove soggiornare nel centro storico di Lugano, Souvenir Souvenir offre lo spazio espositivo Sonnenstube per l’organizzazione di attività, esposizioni, performance, incontri e all’occorrenza atelier, così come un serrato supporto curatoriale e la messa in
relazione con professionistə del settore, spazi ed
associazioni ticinesi.
This residency program aims to chorally explore the potential of our region as well as its critical issues, with the intention of laying the foundations to build a permanent residency in southern Switzerland.
In addition to an accommodation in the historic center of Lugano, Souvenir Souvenir offers the Sonnenstube exhibition space to organize of activities, exhibitions, performances, meetings and, if necessary, ateliers,together with close curatorial support and the opportunity to connect with professionals of the sector, art spaces and associations from Ticino.

Gianmaria Zanda.
Souvenir Souvenir è ospitato all’interno di Lago Mio, residenza luganese diretta e curata da Carlotta Zarattini e Benedikt Wyss.
